As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
I was assisted by a staff member wearing glasses who seemed distracted and not focused on what they were doing. They took my order, but when it was handed to me, it was incorrect. Throughout the entire interaction, this employee kept touching their face with their hands and did not stop doing so at any point. They then handled the gloves with those same unclean hands, contaminating the outside of the gloves. Another employee who was there helped out, and she did a good job. When I got home, I realized I had been charged for extra items that were not included in my order, such as tzatziki. In addition, the tzatziki, which is usually placed on top as shown in the photo, was missing.
