Tonight my husband, son and I visited MarryBrown’s Chicken Greensborough. My meal was fine, however my husband’s chicken wings appeared undercooked on the inside. We immediately brought it to the attention of the staff. The wings were replaced, but unfortunately the replacement wings looked the same. When chicken is served with pink, soft-looking meat near the bone, it raises serious concerns about food safety and makes customers lose confidence in the product. The staff member told us the wings had been fried for 15 minutes and then coated in barbecue sauce, but after seeing two batches that looked the same, neither my husband nor I felt comfortable eating them. We were asked what we wanted done, but we weren’t looking for free food. We simply wanted safe, properly cooked chicken. No refund or compensation was offered. I have attached photos so people can make their own judgement. Management needs to take food safety seriously and ensure chicken is cooked properly before it reaches customers. Sadly, based on our experience tonight, I would not recommend this restaurant.
