Using recipes mastered by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago, our flame grilled flavours became so popular that we franchised the business in 1998. Since then we have opened outlets in 16 countries including SA, Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan, Canada, UK, Dubai, Oman, Mauritius, Singapore, and soon in Pakistan, India & Qatar.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Selected Barcelos locations are certified Halal by ICSA.
Thank you for great quality food at such great prices. However I must say, it saddens me how you have chosen to take away the convenience of the foam takeaway container and replaced it with a fancy decorated box. This has not only greatly reduced our servings, but it has made the eating experience a lot harder.....I much prefer the chicken on top of my rice, having the juices of the meat soak into the rice very much enhances the flavor....... As I compare my food from yesterday with today's serving, I am saddened. I understand that the reason for a change was because of a complaint and obviously u can't satisfy all everybody, but please atleast give us an option for whether to be served in this fancy useless box or in the traditional takeaway container we so much enjoy.
