As we had a Pepe’s in East Ham before we were happy to see one open in Cheshunt and tried it for the first time this evening. Boy, what a disappointment. We ordered a 5 chicken wing meal standard fries and a can drink which was over £10 which I was surprised about, I also ordered three extra wings and a Korean burger for a grand total of £25.97. Decide for your self if you think it’s value for money see my photos. The chicken wings were so small that I felt ripped off with price, and because they were so small they were a little burnt. The Korean burger was supposed to have jalapenos which were missing and what I received was a plain old beef burger nothing like the one displayed on the shop front. So so upset. I paid for a similar meal at the Turkish next door last night and it was far more value for money and cheaper only £22, for grilled x8 chicken wings and a large kofte kebab, x2 rice, x2 pita bread x2 Mixed salad. This Pepe is over priced I will not be going back there again even if it is halal. Total rip off, I’m so upset as it spoiled my experience and evening with the family.
