Okay so it's location is a bit obsure, I had to call to be directed to the restaurant. The decor is pretty simple, maybe too simple. I think maybe I was thrown off by my expectations, considering, all the 5β reviews the place gets. It didn't give me an authentic feel for a turkish food spot. I don't know how it is in the night time, maybe, but in the day time, it's empty, which doesn't do much for the atmosphere. I was apprehensive to sit and eat, but my mom pushed for us to make give it a try. There was only one waiter, Jarrod, who by the look of things, based on his name badge, was also the manager of the place. But as I said, it was empty, just us and one other table of about 4 men, so I guess, no other waiter was needed. In terms of service, *chef's kiss* Jarrod was sweet, very attentive, kind, patient. He took good care of us. So, that was a really good aspect of the restaurant ππΎππΎππΎ The food was not great, I don't wanna lie. It tasted good, okay, for sure, but the wraps both my mom and I bought were basically 60% raw tomato and onion and 40% meat. And I personally take issue with that because I searched long and hard for something halal in Klonnade, specifically, because I wanted to eat meat. So, I was not at all impressed. But the little we did get of the meat, wasn't bad. I also had the turkish coffee, that was nice. It would go a long way for them to have a station where they make the coffee for their patrons in real time, coz if they do it authentically, then,I for one enjoy seeing them boil it over the hot sand. It just brings entertainment value and maybe even educational too.
