We were looking for a change of food choice in Baanf. Walked into Saffron - Indian Bistro for an Indian meal without any prior recommendation. The lady who took our order, Tanvi, was very helpful and guided us well in placing the correct order. We had vegetarian food. The Adraki Aloo and the tarka daal (yellow daal) were authentic and very tasty. The tandoori roti and kulcha were good too. The helpings are generous. We also tried an ‘avocado jhalmuri’ as a starter - which was quite interesting and tasted more like a bhelpuri. Overall felt happy having chosen this very Indian place for dinner. Strongly recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian food.
