Shandiz Restaurant in Fairfield is, without a doubt, one of the best places for authentic Persian food in Sydney. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well looked after throughout our visit without ever being intrusive. The food was exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented, freshly prepared, and packed with authentic flavour. The koobideh was perfectly seasoned and juicy, the chicken was incredibly tender, the saffron rice was light and fluffy, and the barley soup was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The fresh Shirazi salad and creamy mast-o-khiar were the perfect accompaniments. A real highlight was the doogh—refreshing, perfectly balanced, and one of the best I've had. We were also treated to complimentary fresh, hot Persian bread, baked to perfection and served straight from the oven. To finish the meal, we were served a lovely cup of hot Persian tea, which was the perfect ending to an already fantastic dining experience. The generous portions, excellent quality, fair prices, and outstanding customer service make Shandeez a restaurant that truly stands out. It's clear they take great pride in both their food and their hospitality. I highly recommend Shandeez Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine. This was a memorable dining experience, and we'll definitely be back. A very well-deserved 5 stars!
