Part of the Boardwalk Burgers & Fries chain — see all 24 locations1981. Dave and Fran DiFerdinando were chasing a taste, the one that meant summer, the boardwalk, and nowhere else. So they made their own fries. Same recipe. Same light salt. Same golden crunch. Still today. Word got around. People wanted more than fries, so we added hand made burgers, shakes made with real Canadian dairy, and a menu that kept growing without ever cutting corners. Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes isn’t just a name anymore: it’s a promise. Great ingredients. Real craftsmanship. And a little bit of that boardwalk magic, wherever you find us.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Boardwalk Burgers locations in Canada (such as in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia) serve 100% halal-certified beef and use beef bacon instead of pork bacon.
Ordered take out, I don't live far, the sweet potato fries were soggy/cold and were not even filled to the top (the picture is before even taking a sweet potato fry). The onion rings tasted like it was deep fried in really old oil. The poutine was the worst one I have ever had. Barely any gravy or cheese. Over half the poutine was just fries and they were slightly undercooked. The burgers were super bland and processed cheese sure ruined the burgers. For the price you pay which is WAY OVERPRICED, I can get a better and fresher meal taking out from Carl Jr's and that isn't saying lot. That is over 80 dollars I won't be able to get back. We won't be back and will not recommend anyone we know as well. Rip off and they should be ashamed.
