As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
To begin with, a philly oz-box was asked for, four times. Then was given a ~20$ chicken swarma oz-box that is 5% chicken, 40% rice, 40% lettuce, 5% croutons. No cucumbers or tomatoes or anything was given on the lettuce as pictured. Why is there no pickled onion/turnip or anything at all on there? I guess "everything on it" means lettuce and croutons, with a random cold piece of beef that was buried in it, from who knows how many hours ago. Also asked for it to be hot on the spicy level, and it was not whatsoever. Nobody says hi when you walk in, until they're ready to take your order. Tables are clean. EDIT to reply to owners response- Saying sorry that the experience wasn't perfect is humerous. I didn't even mention that the second wrap-box was BEEF when chicken was asked for! Nothing about the experience could be resolved by contacting that link. The problems are clearly stated.
