About Barcelos

Barcelos opened its first store in Pretoria, South Africa in 1993. Using recipes mastered by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago, our flame grilled flavours became so popular that we franchised the business in 1998. Since then we have opened outlets in 16 countries including SA, Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan, Canada, UK, Dubai, Oman, Mauritius, Singapore, and soon in Pakistan, India & Qatar.

So, I've been hyping myself up for the new wraps on their menu for a while now. We decided to get the trio. I was so disappointed! It just didn't taste all that good, I don't know what I was expecting, but it just wasn't that. The filling was plenty, but the sauce just didn't taste nice, in my opinion. We did order mild, so maybe that was it, but I'm sad to say that I won't be having these again. On a lighter note, this branch is so cute, the deco is really fun and quirky, and we even contemplated eating in.
