About Barcelos

Barcelos opened its first store in Pretoria, South Africa in 1993. Using recipes mastered by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago, our flame grilled flavours became so popular that we franchised the business in 1998. Since then we have opened outlets in 16 countries including SA, Lesotho, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, Sudan, Canada, UK, Dubai, Oman, Mauritius, Singapore, and soon in Pakistan, India & Qatar.

Because they have a nice vegetarian menu i decided to give it a try. I ordered a vegetarian burger and although it was flavorful the burger patty was not very tasty. Im sad to say I haven't ordered any other vegetarian dish since this time.
