Vapiano started in Hamburg, Germany in 2002 and we opened our first UK restaurant in 2008. There are now over 120 Vapiano restaurants across the 5 continents. Personalisation was key then and today that’s more relevant than ever. Handmade fresh pasta, made in house every morning, cooked in our open kitchens exactly as you like it.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. From the management: 'Although our chicken and fillet beef are certified halal, we are not officially a certified Halal restaurant. We have controls and procedures in place to prevent cross contamination from allergens and raw to cooked products, we cannot guarantee that halal ingredients have not been handled or stored with non halal ingredients. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer halal cheese at this moment in time.'

We had a very nice evening. Sanju gave us a table with a great view to the Tower Bridge and the skyline. The food was amazing, we especially loved the bruschetta with scampis. Originally I ordered pasta with vegan chicken, since the chicken wasn’t available I got to choose between a desert or a drink. That was really nice and I didn’t expect but very appreciated. The staff always made sure we were alright and were all very polite and caring. The robots bringing the food were also fun to watch.
