As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
Very disappointing experience with this order. The rice was undercooked and hard, making it almost inedible. The chicken also had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to eat and raised concerns about freshness and food quality. For a restaurant like Osmow’s, this level of quality is unacceptable. Overall, the meal did not meet basic expectations and felt like poor preparation and lack of quality control. I would not recommend this location based on this experience.
