I visited Moka & Co for the first time today. I found them on Google and decided to give it a try. They haven't had their grand opening yet, but you honestly couldn't even tell. The coffee shop itself is the most calming, beautiful space I've seen in a coffee shop. It feels very luxurious. Would be perfect for a first date, but also for people who want a quiet place to work during the day. I asked about gluten free items and coffee, and staff immediately began telling me about all the options. They weren't sure about one topper, so they went and got it and read the label right in front of me. I talked at length with the owner about cross contamination, safe prep areas, and marking the menu to indicate which items are GF. They intentionally chose to have GF bakery items from the very beginning. I was very impressed with their desire to be inclusive of folks with Celiac disease. The GF pastries are currently made fresh every day off site, but they will be making them on site as soon as they hire a baker. I'm a symptomatic celiac and had no reaction to the White Moka Latte or the Mango GF Cake. I will definitely be back. This might be my new favorite spot!
