As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
I was scared to order here, due to the recent bad reviews. But never tried it before, so thought I'd give it a chance. I ordered on the app, lots of choices and fairly easy to use. Went to pick up my order at the designated time, wasn't ready. The employee was nice about it and apologized. So the food was okay. The chicken shawarma was very delicious, full of flavor. The salad not so much. Lettuce was browning, huge chunks of peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes and the dressing not so good. So just a 3 star rating.
