As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. Osmow's states that their meats are sourced from central halal-certified suppliers and that all of its meat is hand-slaughtered.
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
I recently visited Osmow’s and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The salad served with my order was clearly stale and not fresh, which really affected the overall quality of the meal. Fresh ingredients are a basic expectation, especially for items like salad. This was not only unappetizing but also concerning from a food quality standpoint. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their food freshness and quality control. Customers deserve better.
