I pass by Loaded Pitas all the time, so I finally had the chance to stop by. This new halal food truck in Richmond TX, specializes in charcoal-grilled Mediterranean favorites, and after one visit, I can definitely see myself coming back. I ordered the Beef Kabob (Steak Bites) Platter with a side of Cajun Fries. The platter came with a generous serving of perfectly seasoned rice, tender steak bites, grilled vegetables, fresh onions, and an assortment of sauces that added plenty of flavor without overpowering the meat. The beef was juicy, well-seasoned, and had that delicious charcoal-grilled taste that makes a big difference. The portions were impressive and easily enough for a filling meal. The Cajun Fries were another highlight—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of Cajun seasoning. They paired perfectly with the garlic sauce and spicy sauces that came on the side. Overall, Loaded Pitas delivers exactly what you want from a Mediterranean grill: fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and generous portions at a reasonable price. If you're in the Richmond area and looking for a new halal spot, this food truck is definitely worth checking out. It's a great addition to the local food scene, and I'll definitely be back to try their shawarma and loaded fries next time.
