First time here, owner was very thoughtful letting me know it will take a few minutes (he had many orders). The food is layered and packed with meat in every bite. 2 portions in 1 bowl. The rice tastes home made and soft. The flavor and toppings are off the charts! Especially the spice level not for the weak.

It’s a super cute place, well decorated and really inviting. I had the butter chicken bowl, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I had never tried butter chicken in this type of preparation before. I was pleasantly surprised, it was so tasty. A lot of wonderful flavor with the right amount of spice level.

This restaurant was amazing! The food exceeded our expectations. Definitely try their bowls and rolls the chicken tikka flavor is incredible. Highly recommend! Owner Rahim is an amazing guy and provides outstanding service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing food and great value at Bowl’d Masala! I had a wonderful experience at Bowl’d Masala. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. My absolute favorites were the butter chicken masala and the samosa bites—both were cooked perfectly, full of rich taste, and truly comforting. The butter chicken was creamy and well-spiced, and the samosa bites were crispy and delicious. The staff was very friendly, polite, and welcoming. They explained the menu patiently and made sure everything was prepared exactly right. Service was quick and smooth. The prices are very affordable for the quality and portion size you get. It’s great food at a great price. The location is easy to reach, with plenty of parking, so there’s no stress at all. Whether dining in or taking out, it’s very convenient. Overall, Bowl’d Masala offers excellent food, kind staff, easy parking, and amazing value. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Bowld Masala – Richmond absolutely nailed it. Tried the Butter Chicken Bowl, Chicken Tikka Bowl, and their Tandoori Wings with peri-peri sauce, and honestly… every single bite hit. The butter chicken bowl was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced — pure comfort food with incredible depth of flavor. The chicken tikka bowl had that authentic tandoor char, juicy chicken, and bold masala that keeps you going back for more. But the real sleeper hit? The tandoori wings. Smoky, tender, and side of that peri-peri sauce that is the perfect balance of heat and tang. Absolute fire 🔥 On top of the food, the ambiance is amazing — modern, clean, and welcoming, with a vibe that makes you want to sit, relax, and enjoy the experience instead of rushing out. It’s the kind of place that feels casual yet thoughtfully designed. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, great energy, and flavors that feel both authentic and modern. If you’re in Richmond and craving fusion food done right, Bowld Masala is a must. I’ll definitely be back.
