About Afrikana

African inspired food with a modern twist; from grilled chicken to our house specials. Serving حلال food with veggie & vegan options too! Afrikana first began it’s journey in 2018 in a small village called Aldridge in the Midlands. The vision was to bring authentic home-cooked African inspired dishes to the main high street and incorporate them in dishes most loved by our consumers!

Good value when balancing quality, quantity and price. Some dishes were immense (Bunny Chow really needs to be shared) whilst others were visually appealing. All was tasty. Tackling the Bunny Chow was like eating a football. The mutton curry (zinging) filled loaf of breaf was imbalanced. There needed to be more of the loaf hollowed out to take a larger portion of the flavoursome filling. Still, 'mutton grumble' (gedit?). Worth a vist for sure. Deserts seemed a little pricey compared to the good value to be found in the main menu. The Chicken Date, at £13, was value increasingly rarely found these days.

I had the bunny chow which was a generous portion and very filling. The flavour was good, the bread was thick and doughy, and there was a good portion of meat within. My partner had the afrikana salad with chicken. Variety of veggies and the chicken was saucy and had great flavour, pomegranates were a nice touch. The wraps both veggie and chicken were great! Flavoursome and very full. Much better than others (Nando’s) for less price better quality. They have a great selection of vegetarian foods

Superb meal to.celebrare my wife's birthday with the family. Would highly recommend, food was amazing and staff so good. They even sang Happy Birthday to my wife with a sparkling candle which was a really nice touch. Love this place and will definitely keep going here.

First time eating at Afrikana honestly I was so impressed the food was unbelievable and the price was so cheap for the quality of the food. The steak was cooked to perfection and a big steak which at a normal restaurant would cost £40 plus. For 3 people our entire bill came to £100 with drinks, main meal and dessert.

Booked for Estelles 15th birthday as she loves the mac and cheese. Beautiful food, gave us a fruit salad for stater 😘, lush meals and drinks. Not a one off, food is delish every time. Thank you for making my daughter very happy 😊
