It was moved to Fort Edmonton Park in 1989 and is located on '1920s street' as a historical site and a the new mosque was built to reflect the increasing Muslim community. It is a historical Museum and is open during park hours and allows Muslims to use it with park admission. Please visit this mosque. The pioneer Muslims built this mosque for our Ummah (community). It is important to know our history and our contributions to Canada. I was so humbled and honoured to visit it. Richard Awis loves this mosque and volunteers so much time to honour it's contributions to Canada. May Allah be pleased with those that settled in Canada and pave the way for the Ummah.
