Masjid Umar

Masjid Umar is located in Woodlawn, Maryland. The purpose of this center is to educate muslims and non-muslims alike on the islamic religion, its creed, jurisprudence, manners and etiquettes, based on the principles of Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jama'a. The center's emphasis is on providing guidance and Islamic-based solutions to everyday life challenges, through the weekly friday sermons, evening and weekend lectures, counseling as well as workshops and seminars, taught by recognized islamic scholars and imams.
