Islamic Society of Basking Ridge

124 Church Street, Basking Ridge, NJ

Sunni (Traditional)

Since at least 2007 the local Muslim community has been renting the Bernards Township Community Center in Basking Ridge for Jummah each week. The first adhan is around 1pm, the second at 1:15pm, and then the speech is delivered in English. Iqama is always at around 1:45pm. There is plenty of parking, both brothers and sisters are welcome.

Been coming to ISBR since 2016, the above review is old when Jumu’ah was held at local community center. The masjid is now completely built and operational for a few years now. Separate wudu areas for men and women. There is still no separation between men and women areas for prayers and sisters still take last few rows. Beautiful masjid is now located at 124 Church St, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

I've been coming here since January 2008 and as of January 28, 2011 Jummah has been held every single week. There are a lot of major companies with offices in this area so it's always packed with professionals. There's no barrier between the men and women - the sisters usually take the last two or three rows in the back. There is a bathroom but it can only be occupied by one person at a time, please try to do wudu before you get there. The bathroom is not really accessible to the sisters.
