MCSC was established in 1992, in hopes of serving the needs of Muslims in and around the Somerville-Bridgewater-Hillsborough area. Alhamdulillah, all five daily prayers are conducted at the masjid located at 63 Southside Avenue in Somerville, New Jersey. MCSC also provides the community with services such as Jumuah, Taraweeh, Eid arrangements, Qur'an classes, and Sunday School. Jumma prayers are nearby at 52 Southside Avenue.

I was in the area and looking to pray Asr. I found this center's address on this site. There were no signs on the center when I got there. It looked like someone's residence since it was surrounded by other houses. I decided to try any way. I walked to the back and saw a door with a pull sign on it. It was a door to the basement of the house. In the basement there were prayer rugs , Islamic books and an area on the side to make wudhu. I didn't see/check for rest rooms. MashaAllah it was heated even though no one was there at the time, the Asr jammat timings were much later. I couldn't find any donation boxes. I pray for the family living there for arranging a place for other Muslims to come and pray.

Jumma prayers are at 52 Southside Ave. That place is a beautiful house of Imaam. Prayed jumma here today. There is no facility for women.
