Islamic Cultural Institute

The Islamic Cultural Institute is a non profit, independent organization which was established in the year of 1989. The prime goal of the ICI is to foster and create an Islamic environment to the Muslim community in the Metro Detroit area by providing religious, educational and recreational activities for its members and the members of the public at large. Among the primary goals of the Islamic Cultural Institute is to outreach the non-Muslims in the community and educate the public about Islam. The necessity to create an establishment that is capable of answering religious and cultural needs of the Islamic community in Metro Detroit area has always been felt due to the ever-increasing growth of this community. Islamic Cultural Institute is run by an Board of Directors that is elected by the ICI general members. The Board of Directors carries out itıs responsibilities with the assistance of volunteer sub-committees. All community members are encouraged to get involve, volunteer and support the activities of these committees.
