UKIM Sparkbrook Islamic Centre

UKIM Sparkbrook Islamic Centre and Masjid was established in 1967 and started off in a terraced house on Andertin Rd, Sparkrbook for the purpose of establishing Salah for the community. It was the second established Masjid in Birmingham at the time. As the community grew so did the need for a larger and more suitable Masjid, with this in mind, derelict land was purchased adjacent to the existing Masjid from the City Council.
