Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim

Strategically located in the Central part of the island, this redeveloped masjid is filled to the brim during Friday prayers. It is hard not to notice this whitewashed building atop a small hillock along the main road. The masjid was originally built in 1890 and was rebuilt in 1993. Managed by the Johore government, the masjid's activities are confined to prayers, religious lectures and celebrations.
