Omar Mosque

Great location and very convenient when eating and shopping in the area. Surrounded by halal restaurants and Islamic stores.

With its renovations completed in 2010 this is one of the most beautiful masjids in the area, with a large building able to house hundreds. It has been active for many years and is still active as of January 2011. While it is in a Turkish area this is a predominantly Arab community. There is only street parking - expect to park many blocks away if you're late for Jummah, even the daily prayers fill up all the nearby street parking.

Great khutbahs intensive on seerah, currently being expanded. It's in a Turkish area with some nice restaurants. Seems to be an older community here, but they are welcoming to youngsters.
