Imam-a-Zamana Foundation of North America

235 Georgia Road, Freehold, NJ

Shia (Jafari)

Imam-a-Zamana Foundation was founded in 1988 originally as Imam Sahib uz-Zaman Trust. Initially the foundation began its activities by conducting annual seminars on 'Contemporary Issues in Islam' from 1988 to 2000. The first 11 years the seminar was held on the premises of the Islamic Education Center in Potomac, MD, then was held at al-Khoei Islamic Center, NY, and the Islamic Institute of Knowledge in Michigan respectively. The seminars provided a forum for the exchange of ideas and a platform for the discussion of social, financial and moral issues concerning Muslims living in the United States.

Speakers are always well-educated, well-informed, and honorable people. There is a diversity of speakers in gender, age, and occupation. The highest value here is education although sacrifice is also an highly developed notion here. Everyone is welcomed with open arms, smiles, and told to come back. Great Sunday School for the kids.
