Located on the campus of the Institute of Islamic Education, Masjid ul-Islam is being built on a 22,000 sq ft area and will accommodate 600 worshippers. Muslims living in the Elgin, Bartlett, Streamwood and neighboring communities will InshaAllah benefit from this Masjid where they can congregate to perform the five daily prayers, Sunnah, Jumuah and Eid prayers. It includes a big hall for seminars, conferences and classrooms.

IIE is a madrasa that is the first institution in Chicago devoted to producing huffaz and alims. There are separate buildings for male and female students and many of the students live on the campus. Daily salat and Jumma prayers are open to the general public and a new masjid is under construction at this time. IIE is a great place to pray and an even better place to find a truly qualified Islamic scholar to answer questions as many live on campus as teachers. The madrasa also offers a summer Arabic program focused on Quranic Arabic.
