Boston Islamic Center

Boston Islamic Center is a nonprofit organization which provides services to the Muslim community in general and to Somali community in particular in metropolitan Boston; in order to help them preserve their culture and religion. These services include but not limited to worships, education, mediation, and counseling. BIC provides the daily five prayers, Friday sermon, Tarawih prayer in the holy month of Ramadan, and other occasional prayers. In addition to that, the center provides educational classes which are open to all members of the community. Such classes focus on Quran, Hadith, Sirah, and other related subjects. Moreover, the center mediates between disputing parties whether they are families, business owners, and/or behavioral/cultural disputes. BIC also, counsels families about marital issues and helps them to strive to towards stronger bonds among the family members which is essential for raising good standing children.
