Food is good and the spicy hot sauce is amazing. I’m not sure if you guys sell that hot sauce but I want to buy a bottle of it. Reviews about the beef shawarma are true, worker said it was “chewy” and tried talking me out of it. Understandable. Got lamb instead and it tasted great. I’m not sure if I would exactly talk badly about the food though, I would suggest saying it’s not in stock or something. If it’s that bad then why serve it and also warn people about it. I appreciate the transparency, but I can see why people would feel some kind of weird way when something says it’s on the menu, it is literally available, but then is warned not to be eaten. I don’t think it’s a big deal but I can understand both sides, especially considering it’s been a couple weeks since someone said something about this. You’d expect new beef shawarma to be sent to this location since it’s been so long. So I’m not sure if this really is about a religion thing, because owners response states that they are receiving bad reviews about the beef shawarma but I don’t see any bad reviews about it. So it’s a little odd… being that this is supposed to be a Mediterranean restaurant and beef is not being “served”. And I do agree in a sense that they are not serving it because it’s kinda hard to say you want to order something when the first thing the worker does is talk bad about it. Food itself is good, service wasnt necessarily bad either, it’s just kinda bizzare when you look at the bigger picture.
