ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF – ₹15,003 WASTED ON PATHETIC FOOD | PHOTOS & BILL ATTACHED This was one of the worst dining experiences of my life, and I am writing this review to warn others not to fall into the same trap. We visited Gazebo Dhaba on 31st December, riding nearly 2 hours by bike just to reach this place, expecting a decent New Year’s celebration. Yes, the ambience and décor look fancy, but that is clearly done to mask the terrible food quality and justify absurd pricing. We ordered the Gazebo Special Platter (₹11,400) — the bill and food photos are attached for proof. After taxes and additional items, the final bill came to ₹15,003, which is nothing short of daylight robbery for what was served. STARTERS – COLORED, BOILED, AND FLAVORLESS The platter claimed to have 8 starters. Only 2 were barely edible The remaining 6 were completely tasteless The chicken felt like it was boiled, dipped in green, yellow, and red food coloring, and thrown on the plate. No marination, no seasoning, no grill flavor — just color without taste. The photos attached clearly show the condition of these starters. We even ask to cancel the remaining item of the Platter. GRAVY – OVERCOOKED MEAT & RAW SPICES The gravy served with butter naan had only 3–4 tiny mutton pieces, which were: Overcooked Dry Filled with raw, harsh spices There was zero flavor balance. It was unpleasant and inedible. Paying premium prices for such amateur cooking is unacceptable. RICE – A COMPLETE SCAM The platter included Biryani Rice, Kabsa Rice, and Chicken Fried Rice — all three were a joke. No biryani flavor No kabsa taste No chicken pieces No vegetables No aroma Just plain, tasteless rice served under fancy names. The attached photos clearly show that the rice was left untouched because it was impossible to eat. FINAL VERDICT We paid ₹15,003, spent hours traveling, and got: Below-average roadside food Zero value for money Ruined New Year’s night This place is overpriced, overrated, and misleading. They invest in décor, not in chefs. Good ambience does NOT excuse bad food, fake presentation, and exploitative pricing. I strongly advise people to look at the bill and food photos before deciding. Gazebo Dhaba is a complete disappointment and should be avoided if you respect your money, time, and taste buds.
Nice food, Nothing to worry about taste, we had Big platter, Special Chi. Khepsa very nice and light to have after platter if your have 12 good eaters and 5 mild eaters all these would be enough obviously with some papad, chana, Mojito pitcher, Kunafa, the managing captain and the team serving with all love and enthusiasm is cherry on top allowing us to have all the relaxing family time with no hurry at all. Thanks to Team Gazebo since always and Captain Md.Sonu and serving team lead by Luvkush.
Had a great dining experience at Gazebo Dhaba. We ordered the mixed mutton platter, and it was absolutely worth it. The platter included two varieties of mutton seekh kebabs, mutton chap barra, mutton nalli barra, mutton chapli kebab, along with kepsa rice and mutton gravy. Everything was flavorful, well-cooked, and generously portioned. The platter can easily serve 5 people, and if you’re dining in a group of 4 or more, this is the best option—it saves a lot compared to ordering individual items. For dessert, we tried the Special Gazebo Ice Cream, which was really good. It’s essentially the popular Taloja-style ice cream served under the restaurant’s name, and you’ll find similar versions in other hotels around Kharghar and Taloja. We did order a Big Cola, which unfortunately had a fermented taste. However, special mention to the captain—he handled the situation very professionally, immediately acknowledged the issue, removed it from the bill, and assured corrective action. That level of service really stood out. Overall, great food, excellent quantity, good value for money, and courteous staff. Definitely recommended, especially for group dining and mutton lovers.
Food quality is good. We went for lunch but the during day time indoor AC restaurant is only operational. Upkeep of area is average and staff were sweeping and dusting in-front of us as the seating area was untidy. Overall food is okay but sea food is very expensive compared to portion and quantity. We have ordered tandoori prawns and it was good. Seafood options were limited as Malwani dish is available only at night , said by staff. Amritsari corn fry is ok and egg masala gravy was good.
This was my much awated dhabba near new mumbai, i had seen many reels before but never got chance to visit the place, this dhabba is just located near the main highway, there is less space for parking but sufficient enough for the visitors, this place is huge and cam accomidate more than 1000 people at a time, the service is good and the ambience is outstanding, we went during the day time i am sure the evening visit will be more fun. 🤩🥳😎 The food cost is on higher side but the quality and quantity is very good it feels like value for money. 😋🤤💯 Overall it is good place to visit with friends and family 🥰👨👩👧👦👍
