We came with high expectations to try halal Western food, especially the beef dishes, right in the heart of Bangkok—living up to the name The Beef Master. The staff were friendly, could speak a little Malay, the service was fast, and the restaurant had an exclusive atmosphere. The Piña Colada Juice (THB 220) and Watermelon Smoothie (THB 200) were refreshing and enjoyable. We also ordered mineral water with ice (THB 35). For the cold appetizer, we had the Seared Beef Carpaccio (THB 550). It was delicious, melted in the mouth, and was served with fresh salad. For the main course, we ordered the Copper Prime Rib Eye, medium rare, served with BBQ sauce and mashed potatoes (THB 1,267). Unfortunately, the rib eye was quite tough and lacked flavor. It was also disappointing that many items on the menu were unavailable.
