Just had dinner at Richmond Shawarma — got the Mixed Shawarma Plate. Crazy good. Super filling, the meat was awesome, great quality, cooked perfectly. Overall, 10/10 food and really solid service.

I work in a nearby building and come here for lunch several times a week. The food never disappoints. The staff is always kind and courteous, and I’ve never had any issues. I highly recommend this hidden gem :)

*5/5 Stars - A Game-Changer in Richmond!* I'm still reeling from the incredible dining experience I had at this hidden gem in Richmond. The moment I walked in, Shawarma & Falafel I was greeted with exceptional service and a warm atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Our server, was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. The food was, hands down, the best I've had in a long time. I had the Lamb & Beef Shawarma Platter, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with fresh flavors. I opted for the onions and cabbage, which was prepared to absolute perfection – fresh red cabbage cut perfectly , crunchy moist, and full of flavor with rice and hummus (which I don’t usually eat because of the taste and texture)was amazing with the nicely sliced fresh pita bread,. My dining companions raved about their food, which was cooked to their exact liking. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. The chef's attention to detail and commitment to using only the freshest ingredients truly shine through in every dish. Side note there was only 2 people working and they made sure that my friends and I were all taken care of and we had everything we needed all while taking care of everything else’s that was going on, the phone ringing, taken orders, cooking and making sure everything is correct the communication and teamwork between the workers during the heat of the moment rush was very professional. We traveled from North Carolina and we’re in town for the weekend for our yearly Anime Ink Con Trip and had been tattooing and working all day! We were so hungry and was turned away from another restaurant because they wanted to close an hour early. I’m so glade that we found this place! to add to our yearly visit list for food when we come to Richmond, Virginia. If you're a foodie or just looking for a special night out do yourself a favor and book a table. Richmond Shawarma and Falafel is a hidden gem! The food is fresh and pretty good with authentic flavors that really hit the spot. The staff were great—friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re craving delicious Mediterranean food in Richmond!
