Tried MS Donair (Ladner location) and loved the food but the customer service has been disappointing both times I’ve visited. The crispy shawarma chicken wrap and chicken platter were super delicious — fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Portions were satisfying and everything tasted great. When we visited, there was no greeting or welcoming interaction from the staff. Our order was simply placed on the counter without any indication that it was ready—we had to figure it out ourselves. What stood out more was the noticeable difference in how other customers were treated. A customer before us was warmly welcomed, engaged in friendly conversation, and clearly informed when their order was ready. This contrast made our experience feel unequal and disheartening. The location is very spacious with a really nice ambiance, and I liked that they have board games, which makes it fun to sit and relax while eating. The place is also very clean and well maintained. However, the customer service could be improved. I would suggest being more consistent and welcoming to all customers—a simple greeting, a smile, and clear communication when the order is ready can make a big difference.
