My daughter, who’s an NYU student, has become completely obsessed with this place, so she treated me to my first Yemeni tea experience. The location was buzzing- pretty busy, all seats taken. The space is bright and welcoming with warm wood furnishings. We ordered the tea and the honeycomb-style bread stuffed with cheese, and everything paired together perfectly. The tea was creamy with a slight cinnamon kick, and the bread was light, crispy, and flaky. Such a cozy experience overall. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return next time I’m in town.
