I ate Fugu Tenju for lunch at Uosho in Asakusa. It's delicious with plenty of volume and a thick tsuyu!

This is a very delicious fugu restaurant. And lunch and sashimi are perfect. Surprisingly cheap. The food is carefully prepared and it can't be helped that the serving time is so long! It's a very nice shop with a cheerful mother who runs it. This time I only have photos of the lunch. Great lunch for 1,300 yen on weekdays. The blowfish course at night is cheap (as someone else's menu is posted) and it's really delicious! A restaurant that not many people want to know about.

2024/10/13 Lunch I visited for lunch for the first time on my way back from the Kappabashi Dougu Festival. This is a long-established blowfish specialty restaurant in Asakusa that has been operating as a restaurant since 1904. The restaurant has 2 table seats and a tatami room. The inside of the store is old and dimly lit. It has the atmosphere of a long-established restaurant, and you can notice its age, but as long as the food is good, it doesn't matter. The landlady? There is one elderly person in charge of the hall, and one man and one woman work in the kitchen. I ordered Fugu Tenju (2,200 yen) and Tenju (1,300 yen), and it took quite a while for the food to arrive. Tenju's menu costs 1,500 yen, but lunch seems to be cheaper. I was surprised at the amount of puffer fish that arrived! I forgot to count the number, but it was quite a lot. It also includes eggplant, green pepper, sweet potato, and ginger tempura. It's a sweet sauce that I like, and it's not as strong as it looks. The garnished fish cakes and pickled radish are also delicious. The miso soup also contained blowfish with bones, and the soup stock was very effective and delicious, but it was a little too strong for me. Water is served first, but tea is served with the meal. It's a nice service. My friend's Tenju had 3 shrimp and the same vegetable tempura as mine. I was told that I could get a container for what I couldn't eat, so I didn't force myself to eat it and just got the container and had dinner. Since it is an old store, there are some concerns such as the darkness, but I was very satisfied with the taste and price of [Fugu Tenju] at a long-established blowfish specialty store.
