Tikka N Talk

My husband and I came here for iftar on a Saturday, and we were seated right away. The waiter brought us a plate of dates, far-far with chutneys, and a large bottle of water to break our fast, which was a very nice touch and much appreciated. We ordered a plate of chicken tikka, adraki aloo ghobi, and chicken 65, plus a passionfruit mocktail and a strawberry mocktail. The mocktails were deliciously refreshing, made with fruit, sparkling water, and mint leaves; it was perfect after a long day of fasting. The chicken 65 was generously portioned and satisfying, although the tamarind-based sauce it was coated with was slightly too sweet for my taste. The chicken tikka was made with thighs and was served on a sizzling platter; it was quite tender and flavorful. The adraki aloo ghobi was cooked perfectly and was actually spicy enough to make our noses run! The restaurant is fairly small and dimly lit, with Bollywood-inspired wall art. Alcohol is served here, but there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available. There were signs on the window and on the menus saying that all meat served is halal.
