I just emailed them today and got a quick response. Muslims should know that although the tenders and leg quarters are halal, they fry them in the same 4 fryers at the Pasadena location.

I would not recommend eating inside. It's loud, cramped, and uncomfortable. Just get it to go. This place makes a really good fried chicken sandwich. Well, as long as you don't get it with cheese which is just a cold slice thrown on the sandwich (why not melt it like every other fried chicken place on earth?). The problem is it's just too inconsistent. Sometimes mild is mild and sometimes mild gets you medium. Sometimes the fries are seasoned and sometimes they're not. Sometimes the sandwich and fries are piping hot and sometimes they're lukewarm. With some quality control and better service, this place could be great. But as of now, it's not worth the risk and I'd go elsewhere.

Last time I went the food was good but I got food poisoning immediately after eating here. Tried it again yesterday and had the exact same thing happen. I’m not sure what they put in their food, but it is not for me unfortunately.
