This restaurant was recommended by the owner of a halal grocery store where we got the supplies for our trip. He even called them up. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise for us. Nice and clean and the food was very authentic and delicious. We went here the first day of our trip and when we got back to Anchorage, everyone in the family unanimously wanted to go back to it. The owner greeted us with Salam and told us that only chicken and lamb is halal on the menu but not the beef. We had vegetable pakoras, chicken tikka masala, bhindi bhaji, mixed vegetables, chicken malai curry, chicken tandoori over the two visits and everything tasted great. If I'm ever visiting Anchorage again, I'll be sure to go back to this place.
