About Dave's Hot Chicken

Louisiana style spicy hot fried Chicken. Parking lot sensations now serving at a brick and mortar in Los Angeles. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept - take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw - they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Friendly staff. My kids love their chicken sandwiches, while visiting Boston we came across their location and my kids wanted to go for it. Same quality food as we get here in NYC. Oreo shake was tasty, it felt like we are having oreo mcflurry from McDonald's. Loaded fries were okay because basically they put the same chicken tenders on fries which you get otherwise with sauce.

Just because they put paprika and salt on a mildly breaded piece of chicken does not mean they can charge me $14. Double the price of popeyes with half the flavor. Atmosphere is great and the people at the register were very nice. Food is decent, just not worth it imo.
