About Surena
Surena is a first in Persian Cuisine in Colorado. Surena Restaurant offers authentic, homemade Persian food. We grew up with Mom's cooking and occasional works of wonder by Grandma. Coming from tight-knit Persian families, we both grew up with the family meal being the center-piece of everyone's day, where stories where shared and generations exchanged their experiences and the lessons they learned. Food has always been a source of love and inspiration in our families. After we were married, this tradition continued and we shared the same meals and tables with our children and friends and neighbors in Colorado. We also noticed that there is a need for a Persian Restaurant in Denver where the menu, the ingredients and the cooking ought to be exactly as Grandma's cooking.
