This is a great spot for authentic tasting Mediterranean food. I would highly recommend their lamb burger. It will taste a little gamy if you are not used to lamb burgers but for me it was seasoned perfectly. They also serve deer meat if you are into it (not zabihah). Also their fries were one of the best that I have tried lately. The house sauce goes well with burgers and fries and the girl behind the counter was a dynamo who was taking orders, serving, cleaning up the place, helping in preparing food etc. This is a great place for enjoying a hearty meal around the lake Tahoe area. There are not many places in this area where you can eat halal so I was pleasantly surprised to find such delicious food.

GoogleWe had a very nice meal recently at Artemis. South Lake Tahoe is filled with pizza and burgers and asian and Italian foods. Some are really good and some are just decent. My wife found this Mediterranean restaurant and we thought we'd give it a try. The staff was super nice and the food was hearty and delicious. We were very pleased with the experience and would certainly revisit again.

GoogleWell there were so many things that went wrong with my experience with this restaurant. While ordering the food, I checked with the waiter if the gyro plate comes with rice or not. He said it does comes with rice but when the order came to the table, there was no rice . When I told him he made a mistake, he gave me an extra plate of rice and charged me an additional $5 for the crappiest rice I have had. The falafel burger was the worst falafel burger I have ever had in my life. The patty was hard as a rock. This isn't an authentic Mediterranean restaurant at all. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place.

GooglePoorly run restaurant. Five occupied tables and slammed with takeout orders causing substantial delays in service inside the restaurant. The waitress was very nice, but does not make up for barely like warm soup and entrees at similar temperature. Taste was decent—maybe 3 out of 5. Ultimately, not worth the time or the money.
