Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. About Dave's halal status: 'While halal chicken is slightly more expensive - roughly 10 cents more per pound for Dave's - the founders feel both the flavor and the opportunity to reach a wider market, halal diners, is more than worth the cost.
Louisiana style spicy hot fried Chicken. Parking lot sensations now serving at a brick and mortar in Los Angeles. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept "” take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw "” they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This place needs no introduction if you live in So. Cal. Most of the reviewers on other sites such as Yelp agree that the food is amazing. Wait times can be up to an hour or more during peak times. Specially when they open up there\'s already a line outside in the parking lot that is 70 to 100 people deep. And you will be extremely luck to find parking any time of the day. Here\'s a trick to the parking woes. Go across the street and park in the free parking lot of Smart and Final. Coming back to the food.... there\'s always a line, so that many people can\'t be wrong. On the average you will be waiting 45 to 50 minutes in line even before ordering food, during busy hour. That many hungry people can\'t be wrong. I love their sliders and tenders. Fries have this spicy seasoning powder sprinkled on it that makes them even better. Chicken is juicy as it is marinated in their secret brine solution for more than a day before they fry it. I usually order medium or hot, however I have tried extra hot as well. I wouldn\'t recommend the reaper unless you are a certified chili conquering humanoid, you have to sign a waiver before getting the reaper hot chicken. Stay with the less hot Chicken and you can thank me later. This is easily the best fried halal Chicken that I have tried in years. The seating inside is not very generous, so chances are that you will eat it outside in your car or it will be a take-out. I have tried them about 5 times but my kids are a regular at this place. Another tip if you hate to stand or wait in lines...... go between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m..... I know it\'s an odd time but hey... you want your hot chicken fast... right?
