Welcome to Thia God Danang-Style (the new name of Thien Ly Danang-style) - an intimate, garden-style restaurant that found in July 2016 and serves authentic Vietnamese food in the beautiful coastal city in Da Nang, central Vietnam. The two founders, Tung and Ly's ambition is to bring their secret family recipes of southern Vietnamese dishes to the world. This cozy, family-run restaurant in Da Nang has welcomed thousands of visitors from all over the world, catering to many dietary requirements rarely found in Vietnam, such as full halal, vegan, gluten-free, and friendly with kosher, Guanyin, and Hindu diners.
A halal certificate is clearly visible on the premises. From the management: 'This restaurant, which is the only halal-certified Vietnamese restaurant in Da Nang, serves a full halal menu, but alcohol allowed, and limited prayer accommodations.'
Score reflects admin-confirmed halal status; no additional evidence on file yet.
I stopped by for a drink — great experience overall. Friendly and helpful staff, stunning view, and fair prices for the quality. Just a heads-up: as far as I understood from the receipt and brief chat with staff, no service charge (e.g. 5%) is included. That’s unusual for higher-end places in Vietnam, where it’s often added automatically. There’s a tip box placed subtly on the right side, which I almost missed. So if you want to leave a tip, check your bill — and bring cash. If my understanding is incorrect, I’m happy to update this review after clarification from Melia.
