From the owner: 'My name is Jesse Koontz and I am the owner and operator of Dog Haus in Lincoln Park. I am writing to verify to you that all of our dogs, burgers, and chili are made from 100% Creekstone Farms beef. We have 3 separate cooking surfaces and 3 separate fryers that have allowed us to 100% accommodate Halal customers to ensure there is no cross-contamination between beef and pork.'
Dog Haus has garnered critical acclaim and national attention for its signature all beef Haus Dogs and handcrafted proprietary Haus Sausages, as well as its 100% genetically tested, humanely raised Black Angus beef which carries no hormones or antibiotics. All Dog Haus dogs, sausages and burgers are served on grilled King's Hawaiian rolls. Restaurants are open for lunch and dinner daily and guests can choose from signature, one-of-kind Haus creations or customize their own from a wide array of unique toppings. Founded by partners Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and Andre Vener (three friends who share a passion for creativity, quality and commitment to community), the first Dog Haus opened in Pasadena, California in 2010.

The first time we went earlier in the year the staff said they serve halal but cook everything on the same surface. They changed this now as we went two weeks ago and the staff informed us that the meat is still halal and they now cook on separate grills to avoid cross contamination. Food was good!
Just called the restaurant and checked with the employee who after checking with kitchen she said none of their meat is halal.
