Delhaize supermarkets provide the best in fresh produce. Prime quality meat products are prepared by well-trained butchers and in-store bakeries produce freshly baked bread several times a day. In addition to the well-known Delhaize own brands, Delhaize's 764 stores also offer national brands.
Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status. The Delhaize Group has put some twenty halal certified fresh products at the disposal of its customers from the beginning of August 2017. Already present at some franchisees, halal will now be available in the butcher's department of supermarkets in major cities such as Brussels, Charleroi, Liege or Ghent.
