Traveling from out of town and surprisingly, this restaurant did not come up on the Zabihah app. I then used my backup and searched for halal restaurants on Google Maps and they came up. I called and confirmed the meat is halal and also verified it with all the Muslims patronizing this restaurant. The food wasn't bad and it wasn't great, but it was good. The kabuli palau, in particular, was the best I've had. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are a good value. I'd go back if I was in the area again.
Finally a legitimate Afghani restaurant in DFW! Food here is no frills and plain delicious enough to protest against the war in Afghanistan even more. Everything I\'ve tried has been finger licking. Their chapli kabob is juicier than the overripen mangoes I used to devour on back home as a child- really, NO ONE can touch their chapli kabob! They even have a chapli kabob burger that\'s manly enough to blow away all the skinny jeans and put some hair on your legs. It contains not one juicy giant chapli kabob patty, but TWO. The lamb chops are never enough. I once ordered two orders (six pieces) along with the best kabuli pulao just for myself and cried at my table. This place can cure all ills, even in-laws problems.
Went there with my friends and we had the buffet .. It was Iftar time and we waited around 10 min which is reasonable amount of time .. Food was great mashallah !! made with love 2 friendly reminders .. The hummus had garlic or some sort of ingredient that makes your mouth breath bad especially before praying Taraweeh .. 2nd reminder is the yogurt was kinda of hot while served which is a NO NO for food hazards .. Over all Everything else was amazing! Also they had free drinks and hot tea with the buffet !!
