Blackstone Steakhouse & Grill

The food was really good. The place is a little hard to see, its near the Bombay Bhel I think, inside the \"mall\", next to the shoe store. We tried Chicken Parmesan, Beef burger, Steak, Chicken burger, chicken nuggets. Everything was tasty, the presentation is a little different as the food is served on a wooden board. I found it a bit pricey, but that\'s up to an individual\'s taste.

Been to this place a couple of times now - first time was at the time of their soft opening. Was delighted to see during a recent visit that they are doing well and it is recommended to make reservations ahead of time. The chef knows how to make steaks. For those who would love the experience of \"cooking\" their own steak, the lava stone is a great option. My only issue is that every item on the menu (besides the steaks) are on the spicy side of the spectrum; the menu becomes a bit limited when it comes to choosing something mild or not spicy. Dishes are served on a chopping board which adds to the experience. Portions are huge so one does not feel too bad paying a premium although the atmosphere is certainly not that of fine dining. Certainly worth a visit though.

Had the Jerk chicken Nachos appetizer (good), Pina Colada drink (pretty good) and the 16 oz Rib Eye Steak cooked medium rare on hot stone with veggies and mash on the side. Everything tasted very good! Meat was tender and juicy and marinated well. Friendly service. Quality food. Reasonable Prices. Interior of restaurant is on small size. Atmosphere looks more like a fast food joint than fine dining but I\'m sure they will improve interior decor of restaurant eventually. Overall was a good experience and I hope to visit again next time I\'m in the area.

Amazing Steak! Blackstone is a new \"trial\" restaurant situated on the West Side of Toronto. Hands down, the best Halal Steak in Toronto, no one even comes close. Note: The steaks are cooked to \"Pink\", then the steak is brought out on a 400C BlackStone. YOur job then is to cook the steak to your desired temperature to eat. Aside from this Gimmick, the steak is great, and the sauces are amazing. Last note: The decor and furniture is horrible! It\'s like cheap dollar store patio furniture. Dont make the decor a reason not to eat here.
