The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
For the past 10 years, Mahmut Elbasi has been delighting Crossroads Market visitors with authentic Turkish delights at Anatolia. The family-run business serves a broad range of freshly made Mediterranean cuisine, from lamb and chicken kabobs, roast lamb shank plate to three types of Börek/Gözleme (fried filled pastries made of a thin flaky dough known as phyllo filled with cheese, minced meat, or vegetables), traditional appetizers such as tzasiki and hummus, and fresh kisir, piyaz and Mediterranean salads.

The food is tasty. The quantity is on the lower side and hence that makes it kinda expensive. They have a lunch special @ around $15 on week day afternoons, which is a great value. Was a bit disappointed when I saw the regular items in the menu which would cost around $22 also be of the same quantity.
We had the best lamb shank ever. That and the lamb kebabs were just amazing. Their bread (pita) is made on spot and very scrumptious. Chicken Kebabs are very good too. Best Ambiance of a Halal place in Calgary and superb downtown location. Parking is a bit tricky and pricing is of course high due to Expensive location!
